Privacy Policy

1. What we store

When you create an account we store your profile (name and email — handled by our authentication provider, Clerk), the bets you log, your bankrolls, strategies, settings, and any newsletter signup. This is held on secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase, hosted in the EU).

We also store the technical data needed to run the service, such as log-in sessions and basic device/usage information. If you subscribe, payment details are handled by our payment processor (Stripe) — we never see or store your full card number.

2. How we use your data

We use your data to operate the product: to store and display your bets, compute your analytics (closing-line value, EV, yield), run the scanners and alerts you enable, manage your subscription, and send service and — if you opt in — newsletter emails.

3. Models, analytics and aggregated data

We use the betting data you log to build, train and improve our own statistical and machine-learning models, benchmarks and market analytics. This helps us improve Sharpery and develop new products.

We may license, share or sell datasets, insights and model outputs derived from this data to third parties — but only in AGGREGATED and DE-IDENTIFIED form: data combined across many users and stripped of information that identifies you (your name, email and account). We never sell your individual, identifiable bet records or personal information.

Where the law requires your consent for a particular use of personal data, we will ask for it, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

4. What we do not do

We do not sell or rent information that identifies you. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. We do not share your personal betting history with bookmakers.

5. Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we use your email address only to send the content you signed up for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

6. Your rights and controls

You can edit your profile and preferences in your settings at any time. Under the GDPR (and similar laws such as the CCPA) you can request access to your data, a copy of it, correction or deletion. You can export your bets at any time, and deleting your account removes your personal data from our systems — aggregated, de-identified data that no longer identifies you may be retained.
